  • Active User: An active user is one who has a portal account associated with their email. They can log into the portal to access portal resources, unless their account is soft-locked or hard-locked. This definition applies to both Florida Health Care Connections users and FX Enterprise Portal users.
  • Deactivated User: A deactivated user is one who has a portal account associated with their email but will no longer be able to access any portal resources. Any roles, including birthright roles, associated with the deactivated user's account will be deprovisioned upon deactivation. This definition applies to both Florida Health Care Connections users and FX Enterprise Portal users.
  • Document Management Process: The steps involved to store, manage and track electronic documents related to a project.
  • FX Provider Portal: A set of webpages that provide authenticated access to Florida Medicaid services and information for Florida Medicaid providers. Allows providers to enroll, check recipient eligibility, search and submit claims, search for prior authorization, perform file maintenance, access current and previous communications from AHCA, open service desk tickets for IT-related issues, and access all functionality provided by the FX Provider Zone.
  • FX Provider Zone: A set of webpages that provide unauthenticated access to Florida Medicaid services and information related to Florida Medicaid providers, including, provider handbooks, fee-for-service information, provider enrollment, claim information, how-to-videos, FAQs, statewide letters and brochures, ability to file a complaint, ability to create a service ticket, view provider alerts, and other Agency initiatives.
  • FX Recipient Portal: A set of webpages that provide authenticated access to Florida Medicaid services and information for Florida Medicaid recipients. Allows recipients to check eligibility and enroll for Medicaid benefits, add/remove recipients, access current and previous communications from AHCA, search for providers based on plan participation and location, open service desk tickets for IT-related issues, and access all functionality provided by the FX Recipient Zone.
  • FX Recipient Zone: A set of webpages that provide unauthenticated access to Florida Medicaid services and information related to Florida Medicaid recipients, including, health and dental plan information, how-to-videos, FAQs, statewide letters and brochures, ability to file a complaint, ability to create a service ticket, and recipient notices.
  • FX Service Desk Routing Tickets: When a ticket is created within FX Service Desk with a particular ticket type, that ticket is automatically routed (ticket details are set via API) to FX Help Desk. The API is bi-directional meaning that ticket status will be sent back to the FX Service Desk and communication such as notification emails for when a ticket is resolved will be distributed from the FX Service Desk.
  • FX Service Desk Ticket Escalation: When a ticket requires quality control measures, that ticket can be escalated by the Service Desk Support Specialist to their Supervisor for UOC review. If necessary, it can be further escalated to a Service Desk Supervisor (AHCA) for AHCA quality control review.
  • Hard-Locked User: A hard-locked user is one who will not be able to login. To remove a hard-lock, a user will have to call the FX Service Desk. A hard-lock is initiated when a user enters in a password, MFA code, or one time passcode incorrectly 3 times within a 15-minute period while trying to reset their password, register a device, or remove a device. A hard-lock could also be initiated through a service request ticket to hard-lock an account if determined to be suspicious. Unlike a deactivated user, a hard-locked user's roles will not be deprovisioned. This definition applies to both Florida Health Care Connections users and FX Enterprise Portal Non-Federated users. Recipient users will become hard-locked if they do not log in within 430 days.
  • Soft-Locked User: A soft-locked user is one who will not be able to login to the portal for 30 minutes from the time the soft-lock initiated, unless the user resets their password. A soft-lock is initiated when a user enters in a password or MFA code incorrectly 3 times within a 15-minute period while trying to login. This definition applies to both Florida Health Care Connections users and FX Enterprise Portal Non-Federated users.
